i have a verizon wireless DSL modem
and the LAN thingy is plugged to the computer and all
and there is an anntena kind of thing sticking out from the modem
so is there any way to create an internet connection so laptops around here can use the internet?

My school gave away laptops to kids and i didnt believe it then when they did i got so pissed.

I like to play games but of the 4 laptops in my house none of them will run most the games I like to play (CoD, Battlefield, ETC)

Is it possible to link 2 computers together so both systems work on a single program? Bassically putting half the load on each computer so the program runs smoother?
And if so…How?

I am going to college soon and I want a PC laptop. I’ve been looking at dells lately, because they have a slot load drive with the blu-ray player. I’ve configured their laptops countless time and have finally decided that the laptop I would want is about 1,100, but what I’m asking is if laptop brands have any differences themselves. So for example if a dell and a Sony vaio had the same exact specs would there be any difference between them?

I was just wondering why the disk drive always seems to be on the right side of most laptops.

I use photoshop a lot. Im going to college in a few months and though about getting a macbook pro, but than I came across the tablet laptops.
Would it be better to get one of those or a mac?
And also, would a table laptop run a game like WoW for when I have some free time?

For desktops something affordable but a good value.
