What kind of laptops are similar to MacBooks?

Does anyone know of any laptops that are similar to MacBooks? The feature that I really need more than anything else is the camera (Photobooth, etc.), and GarageBand. Do any other less expensive laptops have similar features? Or will I have to save up for a Mac?

Q&A: Ways To Utilize An Old Laptop

In this video, I answer a question from _Keith from Twitter – twitter.com who asks: “Hey Bwana I recently got a new laptop and now have to find something to do with my old one, any suggestions? (I don’t wanna sell)” Thanks for the question Keith. There are many ways to utilize an older laptop. Some of my suggestions are: 1. Use it as a couch surfing machine in your living room. Combined with a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse, you can make use of a web browser and also you can utilize it for musics and video. In terms of games, you can utilize basic flash games as well. 2. If you have kids, you can use a distribution of Ubuntu called Qimo which is a specific pre-configured OS for kids. It has all kinds of cool things that kids enjoy. 3. You can use it learn new operating systems by way of VMWare or simply install the OS on the machine. These are just some of the ways you can utilize that old machine to satisfy your needs. Thanks for the question Keith!
